Financial Administration Services

ADVOCACY IN ACTION CAN HELP YOU
• Organise your financial affairs.
• Obtain all your benefits and maximise your income.
• Use the services of other professionals (accountants, independent financial advisers,
stockbrokers) to ensure your savings and investments are managed to a high standard.
• Instruct solicitors, estate agents and other professionals to
deal with sale of property, litigation and other legal matters

THIS SERVICE IS FOR YOU IF YOU
Are normally resident in Surrey or surrounding districts and:
• Require assistance with administering your financial affairs because of chronic illness, disability, age, abuse or incapacity.
• May require an Attorney or Court of Protection Deputy to act on your behalf.
(Fees are chargeable on a sliding scale which is available from our office.)

LASTING POWER OF ATTORNEY (Property & Affairs)
You can appoint Advocacy in Action to become your attorney.
The LPA must be registered by the Office of the Public Guardian before it can be used.

COURT OF PROTECTION DEPUTY (Property & Affairs)
If you can no longer manage your own financial affairs because of lack of capacity, we can apply
to the Court of Protection to be appointed your Deputy under the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
Advocacy in Action ensures you can take your own decisions, with support as needed, when you are able to do so.
(As a trust corporation, Advocacy in Action is not able to undertake Lasting
Power of Attorney for Health and Welfare, or become Deputy for Health and Welfare.)
